Lesbian Wedding in Utah by Marina Rey Photography

This lesbian wedding taken with Utah wedding vendors was such an amazing opportunity. I love being able to work with wedding vendors here in Utah who are LGBTQ+ friendly and inclusive. I designed and put this photoshoot together! This lesbian couple were the perfect models for this Wicked inspired wedding.

There’s not a lot of representation here in Utah as far as the wedding industry is concerned. Luckily, there’s a lot more people who are willing to show lesbian weddings and gay weddings in their portfolios. I have gone on to take even more LGBTQ+ weddings/elopements myself. This lesbian wedding was taken on Halloween in their backyard. As well, take this Rocky Mountain Bride cover with this lesbian wedding as an example!  Having this representation for lesbian and LGBTQ+ couples is a step in the right direction. I hope this sort of representation in a place like Utah helps more couples find wedding vendors they feel comfortable with! You will find a vendor list that is safe for LGBTQ+ couples to reach out to for their big day below.

She is also great at making you feel comfortable during photos. Marina knows how to pose people alone, couples, and groups in a way that doesn’t make them look like horrible mid-2000’s mall portraits.
