A last minute wedding near the Utah State Capitol. These two cuties were supposed to have their wedding in Utah with all of their loved ones from out of town to celebrate, unfortunately 2020 and Covid-19 had other plans. Although they had to cancel, they still decided that love would prevail and they would have a wedding regardless! So they picked Memory Grove Park, right below the Utah State Capitol, a place they both fell in love with when they moved to Utah for school. Douglas R. Bethers officiated their last minute wedding and brought a special rainbow rope for them to “tie-the-knot”. The day was absolutely beautiful! They had their family in attendance via Zoom (zoom weddings for the win!) and they exchanged rings and sealed the deal with a kiss.
We quickly went up to the Utah State Capitol for some photos of the two of them together and they turned out amazing! Check out this wedding near the Utah State Capitol, it’s one of my favorite events I’ve ever taken ?.
Hope you enjoyed all the joy from this wedding! The Utah State Capitol is always such a joy to take photos at. After taking wedding photos in Memory Grove, I realized that the Utah Capitol building and so many other amazing places are just a hike away from it! I’d highly recommend the Utah State Capitol / Memory Grove for any wedding, elopement, or photos in general. If you’d like any wedding photos, check out my starting prices here. Here’s another LGBTQ+ micro-wedding in Utah as well!
